A day of fun and creative coding and robotics activities that your kids will love

Broader Learning’s one-day holiday coding camp for kids provides a great opportunity for your child to be introduced to coding in a fun, supportive and engaging environment. This program will help build your child’s knowledge and skillset whilst underlining the value of creativity, teamwork and problem solving skills.

These single day camps teach through practical experiences designed to make the learning process as engaging and intuitive as possible. We provide quality hands-on resources and friendly instructors — all you need to do is enrol your child and send them along with a packed lunch and a hat.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many students does the camp need to run?

If the camp does not reach the enrolment threshold (14 students) it will not go ahead. If you have made a payment you will be refunded in full. If you have provided a NSW Creative Kids voucher it will not be processed and can be used elsewhere.

Is there a maximum number of students?

Yes, we will enrol a maximum of 22 students per camp. At this level of enrolment there would be 1 instructor per 11 students (2 instructors total).

How do refunds work?

Refund requests will be accepted and processed up to 7 days prior to the camp. Unfortunately requests for refunds or partial refunds after this cannot be given. If the camp does not reach minimum enrolment numbers or is cancelled for any reason you will be refunded in full.

My child has never done any coding, will this be an issue?

Camps 1 and 2 are designed to introduce beginners interested or enthusiastic about coding and robotics. Camp 3 is best suited to children who attended one of our coding camps in Jan 2020.

My child has done lots of coding, is this the right program for them?

If your child has done a lot of coding this might not be the best program for them. We are looking to run advanced camps in the future. If you're not sure please don't hesitate to reach out to our team to discuss this.

Who are the instructors? Do they have Working With Children Checks?

Our team is made up of undergraduate teaching, engineering and science students all of whom have hundreds of hours of experience working with children and teaching coding and robotics.

All Broader Learning team members hold current and valid NSW Working With Children Checks.
