About Student Maker Projects
In addition to our core focus of providing quality coding and robotics learning programs to schools we want to experiment and trial new and innovative ways of teaching and learning. Our Student Maker Project initiative is the perfect example of this willingness to try new things.
Over 20 weeks groups of students from four Newcastle high schools will work with an undergraduate mentor to produce a STEAM major product. Mentors will provide guidance, technical help and project management assistance as students work to define the scope and solution to their own problem-based project.
