Litter Bot

St Pius X High School


We designed and created an off-road Roomba called the ‘Litterbot’ which will help to keep our playground clean. Our robot will use a vacuum system to clean up places in the playground.


We completed what we aimed to produce but had to exclude the plough that would have gone on the front of it due to space efficiency. We did however end up having the controls of the robot accessible through smart-phone, tablets or computers instead of a hand-held controller. Although we couldn’t complete the robot with some components of our original idea, we substituted them with better and more efficient ones. Our progress with the project would be 100%.
